Bei all den vielen Feiertagen im Frühling kann man leicht die Übersicht verlieren. Aber eigentlich ist das Etikett auf dem Feiertag ja auch nicht so wichtig, Hauptsache man darf ausschlafen. Und das darf man am Donnerstag nach diesem Mittwoch auch und wer hier feiert, der dürfte ein paar Extrastunden im Bett dringend nötig haben: Nic Fanciulli schaut auf ein Set vorbei. Der Italiener hat einen Grammy im Trophäenschrank stehen, ist seit einem Vierteljahrhundert nicht mehr aus der elektronischen Welt wegzudenken und hat mit Saved eines der global renommiertesten Labels weltweit ins Leben gerufen. Fanciulli teilt sich die Nacht mit De La Maso, Soame, Nadara & Baerg, Dario D’Attis, Cavabien und Nici Faerber.

Silvester im Hive
Was für ein Jahr das war. Eines, für das wir uns bei all jenen bedanken möchten, die uns so fleissig die Ehre erwiesen haben. Und die mit ihrem beeindruckenden Feierwillen dafür gesorgt haben, dass hier so viele so wunderbare Feste stattgefunden haben. Dankeschön. Deshalb trommeln wir für die Nacht der Nächte all die vielen DJs zusammen, die das hivesche 2023 unvergesslich gemacht haben und schmeissen eine Silvesterparty, die sagenhafte 30 Stunden dauert. Von Sonntag 22 Uhr bis zum Wechsel von Montag auf Dienstag. Grosszügiges Vorschlafen wird also empfohlen. Wir freuen uns darauf, mit Dir das neue Jahr begrüssen zu dürfen.

Strassenparade @ Hive
Nach dem grossen Rummel mit Lastwagen am Seebecken an der Street Parade 2023, geht’s an die Strassenparade im Bienenstock. Das hat Tradition und solche Traditionen soll man pflegen, indem man ihnen nachkommt. Und in diesem spezifischen Fall macht das Spass wie sonst fast gar nichts. Auch wegen des feinen Line Ups, das für diesen besonderen Anlass zusammengestellt wird.

SOAME at Züri Fäscht
Züri fäschtet endlich wieder. Vier Jahre sind seit dem letzten Schweizer Volksfest vergangen und wie damals besetzt das Hive vom 7. bis zum 9. Juli wieder den, unter prächtigen Bäumen gelegenen, Platz bei der Voliere. Die Boxen wummern am Freitag zwischen 5 Uhr nachmittags und 5 Uhr morgens, am Samstag zwischen 10 Uhr morgens und bis in die frühen Morgenstunden des Sonntags und am Sonntag ein letztes Mal zwischen 10 Uhr vormittags und 11 Uhr abends. An den Turntables findet während diesen drei Tagen ein Schaulaufen all jener DJs statt, die das ganze Jahr über mit ihrem Können dem Hive sein musikalisches Fundament verleihen und SOAME ist auch mit dabei.

Am Donnerstag den 07. Mai ist Hive Audio mit der ganzen Bande im Club Dihei zu Gast. Ab 15.00 Uhr geht es los bis Mitternacht. Monday Blues (SOAME Remix)
Los Angeles-based artist Eric Sharp links up once again with longtime collaborator Zhao on the Swedish imprint House Music With Love for an emotional single titled 'Monday Blues' and now the remix package includes three new mint versions by Pandhora, Urmet K and SOAME. SOAME gives us a slighly mysterious feel with this remix. The beautifully EQ'd kick and the ongoing bassline marries very well and makes the entire track hit hard. The pads and the ringing notes gives for a darker ambiance, and the perfect part of the vocal sample was used to give it that extra edge. It's a great track, and a show of how one can transform the atmosphere of a song with the use of clever details.

Arosa Electronica 2016
On Sunday it starts again...Arosa Electronica Festival goes into the next round. This special event runs over a whole week and SOAME will be a big part of it. After organising the whole line up for the festival he also plays some gigs during the event. He plays on Thursday Night at the Colour Series Label Night @ Alpenblick together with André Hommen, Karotte, Jem Haynes and Ian Blevins. On Saturday he plays the open air in the afternoon and also at the closing night at Provisorium 13 alongside Animal Trainer, Niko Schwind, David Keno, Björn Störig, Teenage Mutants, Jem Haynes, Nici Faerber, Manon and many more.

New EP on Esance with TSCHAN and Boy Next Door
The second release of SOAME on Esance Records is the result of long hours in the studio with his longtime friend Tschan. Their EP "Tease" provides new perspectives aswell as thought through tracks, from which every listener benefits. The tracks "Tease", "BeGone", "Sweet Kittin" and "Brighter Side" are nothing less than an elegant demonstration of musical possibilities within the variaty of electronic music. Since the label Esance wants to be a plattform for eclectic styles of house music it fits perfectly that Boy Next Door's remix of "Tease" pursues a slightly different direction: direct, powerful and straight are some attributes that may describe his fine and distinctive interpretation of this lovely track. Five different songs, but in the composition a brilliant whole; nothing more to be said.
